Flat Tummy Exercises

Hmmmm The best flat tummy exercises, What do you think the best flat tummy exercise would be? let me guess, you said sit-ups or crunches. You would be surprised to know that is NOT the best. Now, don’t get me wrong, sit-ups and crunches can seriously build stomach muscles (which look great) but you need to get rid of the fat first and they don’t work for that.
You need to concentrate on cardio exercises first. Following are a few of the best flat tummy exercises to get rid of belly fat:
*Swimming
*Jogging
*Bike Riding (Either regular bike that you ride outside or stationary bike for indoors)
*Walk

Basically, any cardio exercise is good but you have to be consistent with it. Just like other areas of your life, make a plan and follow it.
15 minutes a day can do wonders for your body and losing that belly fat.
Once you lose the fat than you can concentrate on building the muscle.

Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day and you wont get flat abs in day.

Burn Stomach Fat Fast
Foods that burn stomach fat

Exercise isn’t the only important factor to consider when trying to get a flat tummy. The foods you eat are also extremely important.
Below are a few foods that help to burn stomach fat and increase metabolism
* Oatmeal- Oatmeal not only helps increase metabolism but also helps lower cholesterol and helps reduce risk of heart disease and it helps you feel fuller longer (which reduces that snack craving)

* Eggs- They have alot of protein. Protein helps your body burn calories. Protein increases metabolism. Eggs also have the vitamin B12 which greatly helps the body break down fat cells.

* Chicken- (Baked or Grilled) Boneless and Skinless is the best. You can make lots of recipes with chicken. Grilled chicken is high in protein and has no carbs.

* Fish- Low in calories and fat and full of omega 3 fatty acids
(Omega-3 fatty acids are considered essential fatty acids: They are necessary for human health but the body can’t make them — you have to get them through food. Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in fish, such as salmon, tuna, and halibut, other seafood including algae and krill, some plants, and nut oils. Also known as polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), omega-3 fatty acids play a crucial role in brain function as well as normal growth and development. They have also become popular because they may reduce the risk of heart disease. )

* Apricots- Rich in beta carotene and vitamin C. Apricots not only help you burn stomach fat but also helps repair lung function from cigarette smoke (if you are a smoker or a past smoker)

* Green Beans- High in vegetable fiber and important vitamins- Three servings of green vegetables a day is always recommended

* Tuna- Tuna is easy to fix. It is high in vitamin D, low in calories and another good source of omega 3 fatty acids.

* Watermelon- High in vitamin C and fiber. Vitamin C helps the body process fat faster.

* Oranges – also high in Vitamin C

* Low fat cottage cheese- high in protein and fiber

Those are just a few. There are so many healthy foods to eat that can help you burn tummy fat. Remember, essential vitamins for burning stomach fat- Fiber, Protein, Vitamin C and the Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Try to limit carbohydrate intake. Don’t avoid them completely. Your body needs to eat fat to burn fat (if that makes sense). Don’t avoid carbs completely, carbs give you energy. If you don’t get enough carbs, than your body starts to break down protein to get them. Remember, protein is important is losing belly fat so we don’t want to lose that.

Drink lots of water. It is best to drink a glass of water before any meal as it helps you feel fuller which cuts your calorie intake. Try to avoid soda when possible but don’t deprive yourself. Having an occasional soft drink isn’t going to hurt you but try to replace alot of your soda intake with water. You will be amazed at the amount of stomach fat you can lose just by cutting out soda. It has alot of sugar and unnecessary calories. Sugar is a big factor in increased stomach fat. Your body converts sugar to fat if you don’t burn it off

Shrink Your Waist In 15 Minutes A Day

It can be difficult and frustrating to get the waist you want but it can be done. A little determination, hard work and persistence will go a long way to getting rid of belly fat and developing muscles that you want to show off at the beach. These exercises will help shape and tone your stomach muscles giving you a waist to be proud of.

Begin with Sit-Ups

Many people do not perform sit-ups correctly. They use their arms, legs or heads to do most of the work. To get the most out of any sit-up routine, you need to focus on your stomach muscles. Concentrate on using these muscles to lift your body.

Don’t worry if you can’t get all the way up. Just keep doing them and eventually you will. It is better to do sit-ups half way focusing on and using your stomach muscles then using other muscles to lift your body higher and get more done.

Focus on your Waist

Few people really focus on their waists when trying to get their mid-section in shape. Yet, trimming your waist while strengthening the muscles there will help you lose weight and keep it off. It will also make wearing a bathing suit fun again.

Side-to-Side Isolation

Stand straight with your legs shoulder width apart. Hold in your abs with your hands on your hips. Move slowly to the left and then hold your position for a few seconds. The, move slowly to the right and hold your position. Do as many times as possible until you can do it 25 times to each side.

Only your upper body should move. And, you need to hold in your abs the entire time. Take a break if you need to and don’t push too hard. It’s okay if you can only do 5-10 in the beginning. You will get better and stronger with time.

Side-to-Side Diagonal Isolation

Begin by standing straight with your legs shoulder width apart. Hold in your abs with your hands on your hips. Lean to the right and forward about 45 degrees. It’s easy to let your stomach muscles go when doing this exercise so be careful not to let it hang.

Hold for a second and move back to center. Then, lean to the left and forward about 45 degrees. Repeat to each side until you can perform this move 25 times.

Do It Anywhere

One of the great things about these moves is that you can do them virtually anywhere and at any time. They are a quick break at work, a commercial break during your favorite TV show, or a few minutes on the floor while playing with the kids! Do them often and see change in no time!!!

Best Abdominal Exercises At Home – A Few Minutes A Day

A common goal for both men and woman is to have a trim abdominal area and, even better, to have the abdominal muscles showing. Any plan needs some persistence and enthusiasm to succeed, but combined with a high-quality workout and diet you will succeed.

Everyone has abs because they are a key part of our core strength. The problem is in getting them seen beneath the body fat that is often stored in this area. This is a particular problem with men who tend to store excess calories as belly fat.

If you can reduce total body fat to an acceptable level and make use of some of the best abdominal exercises at home then you will have abdominal muscles that you can be proud of. How-ever without a balanced and sensible diet your abs will never be seen.

Best Abdominal Exercises At Home #1

The abdominal crunch is one of the most established exercises for the abs but it needs to be done correctly to avoid the possibility of back injury. Move some furniture if required and get down on the floor on your back with the knees raised off the floor just a little. The neck should be held with your hands but not pulled on. Contract your stomach muscles while leaving your lower back on the floor. Raise your shoulders off the floor, while looking towards the ceiling, and hold for several seconds.

Lower back down while maintaining some tightening of the abdominal muscles and repeat. Repeat this for 15-20 reps. If you want to increase the intensity you can contract the abs at a slower rate, or maybe place some weight across your chest.

Best Abdominal Exercises At Home #2

The tummy tuck can be done anywhere, whether at work or home, even while watching TV  . While sitting straight up in a chair with support for you back, draw in the abdominals. Hold for 4 or 5 seconds, release and repeat.

Best Abdominal Exercises At Home #3

This exercise follows straight on from the last, stay upright with arms by your side. Bend in the middle, but with a straight back, and raise your legs from the floor so that a V shape is formed. Maintain for up to 15 seconds and replicate up to 10 times.

Best Abdominal Exercises At Home #4

The abdominal bicycle crunch starts in the same position as the first exercise by being horizontal on the floor. Give your head some support with your hands and then lift both legs from the ground for a few inches. Raise the knee on one side towards the elbow on the other side, hold in this raised position and then slowly let go. Repeat on the other side, alternating for 15 repetitions.

Best Abdominal Exercises At Home #5

Continuing on from the last exercise, the reverse crunch  instead has your arms by your sides. Raise your legs towards the chest area for a couple of seconds and slowly let go. To increase the intensity you can lift your tailbone from the floor.

Best Abdominal Exercises At Home #6

Stay down on the ground, but this time place your legs up on a chair, beginning with them at a right angle to your body . This exercise involves straightening your body and lifting your back from the floor. Maintain for up to 10 sec when first beginning. As you get stronger you may last upwards of a minute.

Best Abdominal Exercises At Home #7

Maintain your position on the floor with hands by your sides, or slightly under your buttocks for support. Lift the legs a little off the floor, maintain for a few seconds and lower. Do this say 20 or so times.

By following this program 3-4 times per week you will soon have abdominal muscles that you are proud of both because they look good and because you will have developed essential core strength.
