Is Mega T Green Tea Safe?
Mega T green tea is one of the best selling green tea supplements in the world. This is an impressive title to hold. However, is mega t green tea safe to drink? Are those who bought Mega T green tea happy with the results?
To understand the concern of many health conscious experts, one way to determine the effectiveness of Mega T green tea supplements is to look at its composition. Here are the ingredients of this product:
- Green tea – this is the fat burner that increases metabolism and helps a person shed a few pounds – over a period of time. Mega T green tea supplements contain 90 mg EGCG, and this stands for Epigallocatechin Gallate. This is an antioxidant that can be found in green tea. Its primary benefits are as a nutritional supplement to prevent cancer, viral infection, low blood sugar, and degenerative diseases. The concern here is that Mega T green supplement has a small dose of this ingredient.
On the other side of the coin, too much EGCG on a daily basis is considered dangerous, mainly because of lack of research on its long term ill effects, if any.
- Chromium Picolate – this ingredient is what assists in controlling blood sugar levels. The reason why it is an ingredient is based on the assumption that it reduces body fat and fat levels. While there may have been studies conducted that support this theory, it is not sufficient to be conclusive. Needless to say, too much chromium is very dangerous to the human body. The accepted amount of chromium a person can take in a day is from 59 to 200 micrograms only.
- Garcinia Cambogia – This is a small fruit found in Asia, and is known for its ability to curb appetite while burning fat. Again, there have been studies that both support and negate this theory, so until a majority result can be seen, it’s really a hit or miss kind of situation.
- Guarana – is one of the sources of caffeine. In Mega T green tea supplements, guarana contributes to fat-burning because of its caffeine, and so this does not say much about its weight loss effectiveness. At low levels, it will help with memory, alertness, and moodiness. To make a dent on a person weight, guarana must be combined with Damiana and Yerba Mate herbs. Unfortunately, Mega T green tea only has guarana.
After seeing the main ingredients of this supplement, the question is easier to answer on whether it works or not. The answer is subjective because for many people, this product has been proven to be effective. On the other hand, there is a growing number of dissatisfied customers who claim that the product is just another fluke
Whether you plan to try Mega T green tea or not, it is important to remember that this product on its own will not be the sole reason why you did (or did not) lose weight. It will always be a case of a number of factors such as lifestyle, exercise, diet, and supplements. Thus, it may work for you, but only if you combine it with the right attitude and corresponding lifestyle changes.

Dessert Ideas for Your Obese Children
There is no reason why a sweet ending is out of the question. If your child has eaten plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the day, and little or no sweet treats, it’s certainly acceptable for them to have a small slice of cake or a brownie, a small bowl of ice cream or a few biscuits for pudding. Restricting foods too heavily destroys the pleasure of eating and gives children no real understanding of balance. The key is to avoid offering extra, unnecessary treats between meals, or the same types of treats every night for dessert. Yogurt, rice pudding with sultanas, baked apples with raisins and a little brown sugar, fruit salad or fruit-based ice-lollies are healthy alternatives, and most kids will accept them without a murmur. You can even grate a bit of 70% cocoa chocolate over the top – you may be surprised to hear it but good-quality, dark chocolate is a rich source of iron and several trace elements. Because it doesn’t contain the sugar levels of most confectionery, it doesn’t affect blood sugar levels in the same way. And because it’s rich, a little is more than enough!
Keep cream and sugar to a minimum when serving desserts. A bowl of fresh berries needs little or no sweetening – though you can dust them with icing sugar if they are particularly bitter. If fruit doesn’t make up the bulk of the dessert, try to serve some fruit alongside so that children learn the importance of having healthy elements to their puddings. Tinned sliced peaches are a great topping for ice cream, a slice of pineapple on its own is a lovely treat, and mango can be cubed and served with yogurt and honey. On some nights just a banana or an apple, or some fruit tinned with fruit juice will be enough. Give your children some healthy options and let them choose.

5 Tips To Eat Healthier
In our over automated world where everything is always available and quick. Quick does not necessarily mean better especially when we talk about food. We can always use a few tips when it comes to our health. So here are 5 tips to eat healthier.
1. Always begin your day with a healthy breakfast. A big excuse for not eating breakfast is lack of time. This never really holds up when you consider that you can buy a hot cereal mix of whole natural grains that can be ready in the microwave in less than 2 minutes. If whole grains are not your things try adding some fresh fruit and a packet of stevia to it. I like to make mine with dried plums and soy milk. You can add raw milk if it is available in your area. The whole grains, dairy, and fruit will not spike your blood sugar levels and will keep you from being hungry for a few hours at least.
2. Eat more fruit, vegetables, grains, and legumes. These foods will keep you energized throughout the day. They also provide necessary fiber, vitamins and minerals.
3. Don’t think of food as good or bad. Our bodies need a variety of food items in order for it to obtain all of the necessary nutrients. Rather think in terms of what the food item is going to contribute to your nutrient requirements. Try to choose healthy foods in an appropriate portion size.
4. Always try to snack smart. Lots of little meals spaced throughout the day can really minimize the likelihood that you will overeat during one of the three traditional meals breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Try to find snacks that have nutritional value and those that won’t increase your sugar levels.
5. Switch up your food choices. Even if you like a food item, too much of a good thing is too much. Vary what you eat and how you eat it. If you usually have a large meal at the end of the day, switch it up and begin with a large meal instead.
